Motus, a 2025 world-model project, ran its real-world experiments on AC-One.

Questions about AC one
How does recording work on AC one?
Press 2 to move the arms to the start pose, press 1 to start recording, and press 2 again to reset and save. The computer announces "Go" and "Safe".
Is the open-source policy the same one ARX shows in its videos?
No. ARX says its open-source ACT code lets developers run the whole pipeline, but the models in ARX's own demos are not the original ACT. Expect to tune or replace the model for your tasks.
Which operating system should I use?
ARX recommends Ubuntu 24.04 with ROS 2 Jazzy. Ubuntu 22.04 with ROS 2 Humble also works.
